The GET OUT OF THE KITCHEN staff are highly-trained, experienced and dedicated to the success of our business.
Wouldn’t you like to know who’s showing up to help with your gathering?
Let us introduce ourselves:
Susan
Susan previously worked for Hostess Helper for over nine years where she met and worked with Jo and Nichola. Her love of cooking and food began as a child, often spending weekends with her grandmother cooking meals for the family. In high school, she did an independent food study and took every cooking class offered. During college, Susan worked in one of Kansas City’s landmark steakhouses. Living abroad enhanced her love of food of Nordic and Germanic cultures as well as an adventurous spirit.
Susan wanted to make a difference in the way people socialize and enjoy food. She started GET OUT OF THE KITCHEN in 2017 to allow Boston-area residents to relax at their own gatherings and savor the experience of entertaining at home.
Susan is TiPS certified and ServSafe Certified.
Jo(sephine)
Jo has over 30 years experience in the culinary world, including ten years with Hostess Helper. With her experience as a Private Chef and Household Manager and her art background, she understands the importance of presentation in executing the client’s vision for a successful event.
Jo is ServSafe Certified.
Ginny
Nichola
Nichola grew up in Europe and the West Indies with a very mixed and diverse ethnic background which derives from her family heritage. She learned over time to embrace and enhance different experiences with food to a new level of interest. Food is a passion and her strength primarily comes from her grandmother first and then her mom. She has worked in the private sector for over 16 years providing public services to homeless veterans and disabled low income families.
With her love of cooking, she has embraced a fanatical interest in mixing different cultural food ideas and spices with her own heritage. Well determined and vigorous, with a strong passion of reinventing the cycle of food, she’s taken an interest to attending small cooking classes such as Chinese street food, Indian cuisine and many other cultures of interest.
After working for Hostess Helper for over eight years, Nichola decided to join GET OUT OF THE KITCHEN to expand her ambition and the qualities of perfection while providing services to families and individuals in the culinary and celebratory areas.
Nichola is TiPS Certified.
